Because the drive was so long and we got here in the evening, Chas and I decided to skip the pre-conference discussion on programming languages. There is an interesting post here about it.
Instead, we went to the Kahunaville restaurant and bar at the resort. I still need to finalize my schedule of events tomorrow, but I think the focus is going to be mostly .NET and Ruby related since I have to (unfortunately) use more ASP.NET code at work and because I haven’t looked at Ruby much and am interested in how I might apply it to some personal projects.
I’ve been taking pictures with my digital camera, so there should be some non-blurry shots of the very interesting resort decor in the Flickr feed later tonight.

I know that if they have Tsing Tao you will be all set, and you can imagine you are at a conference in the Phillipines…or something.
