My dad told me today that he is going to try carpooling with a guy from work due to the high gas prices. But, that still leaves three days a week when he has to drive my mother to her medical appointment. He drives a big minivan that has good mileage for a van, but is going to start being prohibitively expensive soon. But, what can he do? He needs to get my mom to her appointments three times a week or she’ll die. I guess more belt tightening is on the way. But, what’s going to happen if the gas starts being scarce, not just expensive? I need to talk to my Dad, maybe there is something we can figure out.
